I use Harnn and Thann. It is a fairly new, all natural skin care line from Thailand. It is all natural - Paraben free (no preservatives), NO artificial colors or artificial scents - fully recycleable packaging and no child labor! Plus, they are great products!

Are you talking about Blue Buffalo? Yes I have fed this to my 9 month old German Shepherd pup.
He had some gas and his **** reeked. Every dog is different, so your kid may do just fine with it. Quality wise, It is absolutely a huge step up from Purina.

I believe it has a four star rating here. Not too bad. I currently feed my boys Taste of the Wild High Prairie Formula. They seem to be doing really well on it. Less **** to scoop and not near the smell.
If I remember correctly, it was about $27 dollars for a 15 lb bag of Blue Buff. It is about $24 for Taste of the Wild. Actually cheaper for a higher quality food.
It cannot be bought at the larger commercial chains like PetsMart or Petco though. Check out the website and see what you think.
Again, definitely an upgrade and a good choice if your dog does well on it.
Best of luck with your shepherd, they are awesome dogs!

I think physicians formulas (found at Target, Walgreen's, Walmart, etc.) has some. For skin care, Alba is a good brand found at the same store. Burt's Bees.

Blue is very good and congrats on realizing that Purina is garbage. Another very good food that won't break your budget is Canidae All Life Stages. No junk or fillers or corn or by products and about a buck a pound. plug in your zip code to see where to get it in your area.

shaklee they are like mary kay but natural because yous skin is the largest part of us and absorbs everything. Many of us don't think of that.Honestly it's pretty depressing.Lotions,makeup,sunscreen,food...The list goes on and on.But if we were more cautious with what we put in and on our bodies there would be alot less disease.

It is far superior to Purina, but their are better foods out there. It receives a 4 out of 6 stars as a rating which is acceptable. As far as price goes, you are trading the organic ingredients wherein you could buy a food with a higher meat content for the same price or cheaper. Here's the link to its rating.

I, personally, feed Taste of the Wild (Wetland formula), which is a 6 star rated food and noticed a definite shine to all of their coats after switching. It costs about $42.00 for 30 pounds so it is one of the cheaper grainless foods.

This is a great question and you should do your research very carefully! Everyone is going to have their opinion but that does not mean it is the right food for your dog. I just lost my seven year old German Shephard to cancer and that is when I went searching for the cause. I came across a website on the internet that shocked me into disbelief that I probably had poisoned my dog to death and didn't even know it. Most dog foods are loaded with hidden poisons and other obsenities I still have a hard time grasping. I am going to give you the website address so you can read this report and learn what is really in commercial dog foods and you can make an educated decision like I did on which dog food to buy! I wish you all the best!
